What’s the Didrikson storm system?
Didriksons Jacket uses the Storm System, which the company claims protects up to 10,000mm head and breathability up to 4,000g/m2/24h. The jacket’s hem has shock cord adjustment. This can be accessed from the pockets. Only a small portion of the zips can be accessed from the pockets if you wear a hipbelt rucksack.
Does didriksons use real fur?

How can you impregnate jackets?
Wash-in was impregnating the jacket in the washer. After heat treatment, the impregnation result will increase. This can be done by drying the item in a tumble dryer.

How often should DWR be reapplied?

How effective are DWRs?
The simple answer to this question is no. DWR is a coating that does not affect the waterproof membrane’s performance. The DWR and waterproof properties are independent, so even if the DWR is worn off, a waterproof jacket will still be waterproof. DWR is not considered when determining waterproof ratings.
Is it possible to ruin a waterproof jacket by washing it?
Waterproof jackets shouldn’t be washed with ordinary detergent or fabric softener. Each wash can cause the detergent to break down the fibres and strip the fabric’s waterproof coating. It is recommended to use a cleaner that is specifically made for technical outerwear.
